Hey everybody,
just came back from the Italy trip, was super cool and we actually really found some powder, unbelieveable! Met Christian Leischner our italian Team Rider, we talked about the future. Pretty sick I can tell you guys.....Alaska, B.C. , Powder, Heli just some splits about our conversation.... hahha :D
The contest was pretty good but I don´t really have a lot luck at the moment. ;) Stomped to big cliffs at the top went pretty fast in between and two smaller hits afterwards...on the bottom just a small air...but I missed the entry and the small cliff ended up into a 10m clff into flat, I jumped it anyways but couldn´t really somp it and lost a ski....I guess the luck will come back....afterwards we went to innsbruck and partied hard.....like real hard... :D I hardly can remember! haha maybe some locals will....
Tomorrow big trip is coming up. We fly to Barcelona and drive to Andorra to ski there for the weekend, I hope to find some luck and hopefully stomp all my landings this time....
pics from the trip will come.....apparently its snowing in Andorra....thumbs up!

Big Mountain Contest Hochfügen
Hey guys,
I was so stoked about my line in Hochfügen on Saturday, and I was definitley looking to long for it to turn it down. The double stager I took was in a part where the slope was easy over 50° but I went for it anyways. I was hoping that it might end up good and I can get a high score, but the landing after the second jump was just not steep enough.
I would say I pretty much crashed down from 15m. Unfortenately my helmet cam stopped working just before the jump. ;(
But I have a video anyways. hope I get more luck next time. see you guys soon!

SOS Team Alpz
Finally my ankle is feeling better! It´s not 100% yet and I still feel it while riding but at least I am riding again ;). The SOS Team ALPZ met last weekend to shoot our first episode. It was super cool to meet all the guys finally. We decided to go to Schruns/Hochjoch in Austria Simon´s homespot. The snow was actually really nice and we could shred some good lines. A scary moment also when Max (one of the Teamriders) triggered and avalance, but luckily nothing happend and we all could enjoy our day. A little edit is down low. On friday I will be on my way to Hochfügen to start finally my contest season. I am super stoked and happy to be part of the circus again. ;) so ski safe and enjoy being out there.... :)
see you guys soon....

Finally I am back on my skis.... :D
Finally I am back on skis. After now more than 2,5 weeks my ankle is just fine enough to ride again. Luckily the last two weeks have been really bad snow wise so I didn´t missed out too much. I missed out La Clusaz, this years opener for the FWQ Series but I am over it now and happy to ski again. Next week is a new chance, I am going to start in Hochfügen, the famous " Ostwand" = Eastwall is going to be the contest venue! super stoked about that!
The last weekend I was in Obergurl/Hochgurgl, we had some good snow but really harsch weather conditions. Tempertature was around minus 15, wind and lots of fogg, but I still had a good time being back on my skis. I have edited a little video for all the guys from the test! check it out!
There is also our first shooting on sunday for SOS - Sportswear of sweden, were we editing a videoblog this year with about 4-6 Episodes! The first is definetly going to be online around the ISPO (international ski convention in munich)!
wish you guys all a good shred these days....find some powder!

Newspaper Article, La Clusaz injuries...
Hey Everyone,
My local newspaper just published a story about the rising freerider Eric Zeller. :D
I meet up couple days ago with the editor and he was super stoked about freeriding and was super excited to bring some freeriding closer to the people around Konstanz. The local newspaper called Südkurier has a print out of more than 25.000 copies a day. So pretty sick for sure! ;D
Unfortunately the article is in german. ;) But you can find it here anyways... : http://www.suedkurier.de/sport/regionalsport/bodensee_west/art2783,4673380

I also was on my way to La Clusaz the first stopp of the this years Freeride World Qualifier Tour, all in all really disapointing, I had to get back in my car after reinjunring my right ankle at some warm up runs yesterday. So the competition is going to be held without my presence. I had injured my ankle 10 days ago while riding with the snowsick crew in tirol. I was hoping and praying that the time to the contest will be enough to recover. I was working really hard to start in La Clusaz so it seems to be a little set back but injuries happen and everybody has to deal with it I guess! :D
I´ll be back stronger and better and for sure healthier. ;)
see you guys soon.

Happy New Year - Powder?
Hello Guys,
first of all I wish everybody a super exciting year 2011. May all your dreams and goals come true. If you start waking up everyday telling yourself today is going to be a good day, you find yourself having really good days, even when there are sometimes other days... :D
So I guess this was my little statement to all of you for 2011!
The last day of the year 2010 was an epic one for sure. I went to Hochfügen, Austria with my friend Steffen Hürter. No snow has fallen in 7 days and the forecast wasn´t looking better so that we weren´t really excited about having a good at all, but it turned out really nicley. We hiked up some ridges and found an untouched bowl, ridicoulous! :D So we pretty much spent the wohle day in there! We weren´t too excited about filming but here is a little edit about it.
Now I am on my way to Rosenheim to see my buddy Gex Rathfelder from the SOS ALPS TEAM. We might catch up with the Snowsick crew in Innsbruck.
I am kinda getting really excited about the first contest in La clusaz on the 15th of January. I put some news up as soon as possible after the event.
Find some pow pow....cheers!
